A Special Moon Night...part 2

The Special night with the "Super Wolf Blood Moon.

WE had some high thin cloud cover that made photo's hazy.

But I hope you still enjoy the photo's if you didn't get to see it live.

It was a cool event for sure.  Even the cool temps which made the lens fog some.

Dear William,

Where we are, it looked much more reddish with an almost yellow area, where the earth was no longer covering it.

William if you get a chance go on Fox News Dot Com and you would be amazed what Los Angeles saw, I did not even bother to look or take a picture because every time I did I failed, figured easier to look on the Internet:)Endre

I accidentally slept through it, William.  So guess I will need to wait until 2021 for another opportunity.  Glad you got some pictures of it!

I picked my other half up at the airport at 8:30 and by the time we got back to the ranch around 9:45 it was three quarters covered...spectacular site to see.

We did watch part of the eclipse before going to bed. It was too cold to be outside!

Thanks for sharing your photographs.

Good Morning William Feela. My wife and I stood outside and watched for about an hour as the moon slowly disappeared and I had my camera on the tripod however it was not a very good picture because of the low light.
