William's Blog...with a smile!

Where are all of the Christmas lights?

Because of my wife's knee surgery, we did not decorate like normal.

So, tonight I took my bride for a drive to see the lights.

What we saw was dismal.

There were about 6  houses that were decorated any real amount.

that was on a 20 minute ride.  Some in town and some out of town.

Actually all the good ones were out of town.

But, the decorations are not there this year.

It turned cold early this year.

Not sure it that was part of the reason, but we were disappointed!

My yard right now looks just like this photo from about 7 years ago.

White Christmas???I don't know!

Good morning, William Feela your snowmen are patiently awaiting for the snow to arrive.... let's hope it's not up to their eyeballs in 2019....

Morning William.

Should we get any snow, I'll see what I can do to get some headed your way.

Good morning William. A white Christmas is downtown Chicago is highly unlikely at this point. Enjoy your day!

Sorry your light tour was disappointing, William. You should have come to my neighborhood... it would have been a feast for the eyes!

Sorry to read this, William.  My neighborhood continues to be very well lit for the holidays.

I havenoticed this also.  Fewer decoations and fewer people decorated.  NO idea of why.

Our Oklahoma City neighborhood is always well decorated. I took a drive around it before leaving for Florida to get the feel for the season. In Florida Santa wears bermuda shorts.

William Feela For what comfort it's worth, the Puget Sound Region still puts up enough lights to be seen from the Moon.
