Selling your home during Christmas...

So you are looking to sell during the holiday's.

But you also like to decorate.

So where do you draw the line?

Do you full out decorate?

Do you include ethenic decor?

How about  a religious motive?

These are very important decisions to make.

Think long and hard.

It could be the difference between a sale and just another showing.

Good topic! In fact, December has always been a good month for me and my team. Happy Holidays William!

Morning William.

Because of the holidays, a lot of people are not decorating their homes, not wanting to offend anyone.

I was getting ready to do a blog about this subject. I may still do it. I walked in a home that was so over decorated.

Good morning, William Feela Decemeber is a busy month in real estate.... listing a home should be done in as neutral a theme as possible.... keep religion and ethnicity out of the equation....

Good morning William. I would agree with you but if done tastefully and without religion it can be the most special time to sell.

Some generic decor is fine as long as it doesn't hide the features of the home

Bill, if I were to put my house on the market I would still decorate as I normally do but make sure it is always ready to show.

If I was selling at Christmas I would scale it down a bit but would still use things important to me at Christmas. If it turned off a buyer, so be it.

This can be a great time to sell a home, but keep it simple and clutter free to get it SOLD!

This is an important topic. Decorate as you would decorate a model home for the holidays.
