William's Blog...with a smile!

head_left_image

I took time out to work today.

If you have followed my blog the last few days, you know I am deer Hunting.

My clients, city folk all the way asked why I hunt and what could be so enjoyable.

Well I told them this is what I saw today...

14 species of birds all day long.

Rabbits

a Partridge.

a black squirrel

many many grey squirrels

And way to many littler ed pine squirrels.

I also say a fox and flash of a coyote.

And yes, 7 deer which are still walking along.

It is mother nature at it's best!

Although a nice buck, still not the big boy I am after

What a great photo, Bill. Are you going to come home with one of those bucks?

Morning again William.

That last buck you took a photo of, IMHO would have been on my plate the next day.

William Feela - It must be peaceful to walk the land and feast your eyes on wildlife living freely. What a beautiful photograph too!

Hello William - while I don't hunt, my Dad did for many years. I am thankful for my younger brother and my brother- in-law who both enjoyed it far more than me. I liked your post and I'm sure my Dad would too even though he no longer hunts.

That is an amazing picture of the deer, William.  It could easily be printed, framed an hung on a wall.  I suspect it would look far better than having his antlers hanging there!

We all need to do that type of work once in a while.

I find it interesting how some people "dont get" ones lifestyle. I know I enjoy my lifestyle, just like someone else enjoys city living, off grid living, small home living, camper living, etc. I don't question it because I know they enjoy it like I enjoy mine.

Fantastic.  Had no idea you liked to hunt... for life.

Congrats.
