Hunting widows!

Well, it is that time again.

The onslaught of the "Hunting Widows!"

Every year the men spend  money on hunting.

Every year rhe ladies get even.

Most look forward to the men being gone for 3-4 days or more.

A friend has his wife go with him when he shops.  Not that he wants her to, but she  Tally's up

his spending and then allows that much for herself to spend.

Although from what i have seen, the ladies win our.

One more issue is that they  increase in ladies hunting has turned this old tradition upside done.

But I have found when they are joining you it is much easier to spend on things you don't always need just want!

Dear William,

Good idea to budget, when buying stuff. You do not want that prime deer to cost more than filet mignon.

Morning William.

I don't hunt anymore.  Sometimes my wife will call me and tell me she wants to purchase X, and asks if she has enough money in her account.  I tell her to buy whatever she wants and just let me know, I'll take care of it.  That makes for a happy marriage.

William,

Why not have the hunting widows enjoy their time with shopping?  Wishing you a great weekend. A

Even when it comes to hunting, the old adage of "happy wife, happy life" still applies.

I can fully relate to life as a hunting widow.  I was a bride once.  I was stomping through rice fields a couple days before our son was born, to simply have company.  And, when our first daughter was born, he was in Colorado hunting deer.  He didn't learn that she was born until 4 days later.  There were no cellphones in those days.

Deer hunters who think they can limit the shopping by their wives need to be retrained.
