William's Blog...with a smile!

It isn't just leaves and flowers...

It isn't just leaves and flowers that make up the color of the fall.

This is also a color that I see a lot of in my yard.

Many people work hard at getting rid of the stumps after a tree comes down.

We don't. My wife uses them as pedestals for flower posts and Christmas decorations.

The stumps also allow  a host of new life.

As you can see, these mushrooms add a lot of color if only for a few days.

I love those mushrooms.  The colors are lovely, and believe it or not we have autumn leaves here also.

PS did you get my email?

We get large white mushroom throughout the community when we have heavy rains but we have been dry for about a month and a half now.

William Feela  what a brilliant idea would have never thought of putting flower pots on tree stumps . Very clever wife .

I have always been mesmerized by colorful mushrooms that form like those pictured, or in a fairy ring circle!  They spark the imagination.
