William's Blog...with a smile!

Grandpa, can I go fishing with you?

I enjoy my morning fishing excursions a lot.

Just me with my  blank mind.

The other day my Grand daughter asked if she could go with.

HMMM,  she isn't a chatty Kathy, so ok.

Now she has not fished in 5 years.

But there is no pressure on her.

The pressure was on Grandpa!!!

Without dragging the story out,

just as we were going to go to shore...

4 feet from the boat this big guy hits her lure.

37 inch Northern Pike.  about 15 pounds.

After a few photo's the big guy (or gal) was released and swam away!

Pressure was off of Grandpa!

Oh, and Grandpa caught enough fish to weigh about 1/2 the weight of the grand daughters!

Looking for  a great fishing lake, a call to me at 651-674-5999 and let me lead you in the right direction.

I think kids are just luckier at fishing than adults are.  The last time I went along on a fishing trip was a couple years ago.  Three generations went, but it was my granddaughter who was reeling in trout like no tomorrow.

Great day for your granddaughter, William.  I'm guessing she may come fishing with you more often.

My grandchildren are much younger but they enjoy fishing for bullheads ( catch and release) and the smiles, with each bite, is worth a pot of gold William. 😎....

How cool is that? I do love it when my little people come fishing with me so I am sure I will be proud to take my grand children some day if i am lucky enough to have some.
