William's Blog...with a smile!

It warmed my heart!

I was at a wedding this past weekend.

I was asked to take some photo's of the guests.

My favorite was the kids playing outside and not with the electronics.

They were running and throwing balls and stuff that kids whould be doing.

Seeing them out there brought back some great memories for me.

Morning again William.

Watching children run and play warms my old heart.  It reminds me of my childhood

Good morning William. This is a sweet and special post. I agree it is nice to see kids play the way we used to.

Good morning, William Feela that IS the way we played when we were their age.... you rarely see that anymore, unless the families promote outdoor activities with their children....

Good morning William. And just think about it, we survived and thrived without electronics! Maybe there should be timeouts for a return to yesteryear occasionally. Just saying. Enjoy your day!

Playing outside without any tech devices is becoming a rare scene, William.  I read an article this morning, where a neighbor turned in the mother of an 8 year old girl, because the girl was walking her dog without adult supervision.  I couldn't help be concerned at how far we have slipped in our society that children no longer are allowed to roam their neighborhood freely.  I absolutely do not know how I made it to adulthood. . .And, don't even get me started on bicycle helmets.

We see that more frequently here given we have a wonderful beach and a big park adjoining it.  Lots of kids engaged in activities and gym classes at the beach.  A

I agree with you, William. It's nice to see children playing games with each other and playing outdoors. I had so much fun doing that when I was a kid.
