William's Blog...with a smile!

Do you remember these?

I was in a specialty candy store the other day.

There was a commotion up front.  I peaked around to see what the issue was.

There was a woman yelling at the 16 year old cashier.

She was upset that they sold CANDY CIGARETTES.

The woman was demanding that this young lady who is only an employee to remove the candy from the shelves's.

I get her point, but she was going the wrong way about it.

I stepped in to help the cashier and quieted the lady down and got her info on how to contact the owner.

I believe these cigs will taken of the shelves will save lives.  ; }

I certainly have shuffled around the planet long enough to remember them.  I bought more than a pack of them when I was a kid, and I never became a smoker!

I do indeed remember those candy cigarettes, William Feela And I also remember indulging in them. But I never became a smoker because of them.

Good morning again William. I sure do remember these. I agree with the woman but not her tactic.

You can still get most of the "vintage" candy at special shops.

I had no idea these were still out there. I also remember the ones we bought that had chalk in them where it came out a little like smoke.

No, seriously William Feela ?  There used to be candy cigarettes for sale?  I was never much of a candy kid, so maybe that's why I don't remember them.
