So, you claim you are busy as a Bee!

Ok, so you claim to be as busy as a Bee.

But the question is are you accomplishing as much as a bee.

We have a new nest built on the side of one of our sheds.

The Bee's (I believe to be a black hornet)

has made some great strides in building their home.

They built this in about 4 days! Did you get as much done as these bees!?

When you consider the size of the bees in comparison to the size of the home they built, it's quite impressive!

Morning William.

No sir, I did not accomplish as much as I had envisioned to do.  However, on my defense, the day isn't over yet

Now that is a cool nest.  Cant say I have seen one on the face of a building like that before.

Wow, that's huge! Are you going to leave it there and watch the bees all summer?

Bees, wasps, hornets and birds make fast work of putting a home together. They have to get to building the family.

I have to admit that while I am busy, I obviously need to stop using that phrase.

Hornets are, essentially, wasps on steroids.  Stay away!!!

And, by-the-way, if you ever dissect a bee, hornet, or wasp nest you will be fascinated at their construction skills.  Not many "crews" could build a home for such a large family in 4 days.
