A fun camp fire.

Here is a fun way to have a camp fire.

Start a fire and then put  3 small bricks in the fire.

Take a hollow piece of wood and set on top of the block and let the fire come up the hollow

like a chimney.

A great way to roast marsh mellows and hot dogs.

It also directs the heat up when it is very warm out side.

I should have learned this as a Boy Scout but if I do a fire I will give it a go.

I have not tried this before. I may have to give it a shot one night when the little people want to make smores.

That's a very interesting concept, William!  The next time I have some hollowed out wood, I'll give it a try!

You must have been a Boy Scout or an avid camper. This is a great way to have a fire.

We actually did this years ago during Air Force survival training, William.  It was a great fire for cooking.
