William's Blog...with a smile!

I love to see the grand kids.

It is only 3-4 times a year so when they show up it is special.

Of course, Grandma, always makes the visit special for them.

My wife is the typical...spoil them and then send them home...kind of grandma.

I heard a great saying that makes a lot of sense...

Children are often spoiled because no one will spank grandma!

Oh how true this is!

Good morning William. My first grandchild arrived yesterday and I must confess to being more guilty than grandma so far. Enjoy your day!

Ahh, the role of grandparents is often to spoil!

Good morning again William. Your grandkids are cute. Don't blame your wife.

My Mom is always happier when she gets to spend time with the grandkids.  It's easy for kids to bring smiles to faces!

Good morning William Feela,

There is nothing like grand kids to put a smile on your face and in your heart. I love spending time with the grand-kids and enjoy them all living here so we can see them often. I know it must be hard to only see them 3 or 4 times a year..capture each moment and hold it close.

I have a sign at my house that reads, "What Happens at Grandma's House Stays at Grandma's House."  I adhere to it pretty closely.

Enjoy the special moments.

I still recall the wonderful desserts served at my grandmother's dining table.

I still have not figured out how to call my Mother down when she misbehaves with my children, so I get the saying.
