More proof spring is here

My wife and I was working on some of the bushes in our yard when we spotted this nest.

I was up on the ladder and was able to look in.

3 fuzzy little chicks.

We had heard some birds making  a rukus but did not think twice.

I snapped

a quick photo and let mom and dad back to the nest.

Nature at work, Bill. I have been hearing lots of chirping near my house, too. But I am not sure where the nests are.

How sweet William Feela! Spring has been here in Charlotte for a while now. Glad it's finally reached you, as well.

Hi William Feela - It wouldn't be spring without chirping birds! How cute.

Oh how beautiful! I'm sure Mom and Dad were glad you were quick about it!

You made the right decision to stop and let the parents back in.

My neighbors have birds that nest in their hanging plants on the front porch each year.

I am pretty sure I have a squirrel nest in one of my trees.  The mama squirrels are in my cats' faces, when they come out in the yard.
