Does the weather influence your home choice?

I should clarify some...

Does the local weather influence where you buy in a local.

Here in North Branch, Minnesota, the majority of people work 1/2 hour or more away from home.

Snow storms can make travel terrible and take a lot longer.

But there is also the issue of getting in and out of your driveway.

WE get ice sometimes, and when it gets slippery, you may not get out of your driveway if you have a

hill.   Same goes with the snow.

I know of a place where the driveway is downhill and does-not level off until you get to the garage.

2 weeks ago, he went right through the garage door because he could not stop.

In buying your first or next home, keep these issues in mind.  Could save you many a headache!

Winter can be very pretty but also challenging.

It could of been worse and the hill could be opposite where you slide down to a major road. I lived in a house where we would back down this steep driveway hoping we would not skid onto the main road with traffic, so we just ended up going at a diagonal into the neighbors property. If we had done this for 2 more years we could of maybe had a claim on Adverse Possession
