Thinking of Spring.

It is the middle of winter here in Minnesota.

It has been cold but not much snow.

It isn't because it has been a long winter, it is just because I saw a flower.

While I was shopping today I saw a beautiful blossom.

It so reminded me of spring.

Here is a snapshot...

That's lovely William Feela and maybe you will have a mild and short winter up there this year!

Morning William.

Down to 50 days and counting.  Temps around here are getting warmer but, now warm enough for this old guy

We have been in the 60s for the last few days so my thoughts of Spring are very present.

Spring will be here before you know it. Just stop sending cold air down to us in Atlanta OK?

I have been amazed that some of my roses have bloomed all winter.  Even more frightening is one crazy azalea, which has also continually bloomed.

William, you are right, once we see flowers, it reminds us that there are none right now.

Oh my William. That is a gorgeous flower. It was warmer here for a couple of days so I did ground stuff I can't do in the winter.

We can tell that Spring is just around the corner here. We have had a few cold snaps this year, but are currently back into the 60's during the day.

We barely know it's winter here on the Western Slope of Colorado. There's been no snow to speak of, and most days our high temp is in the 40s. We could really use some snow. Our snowpack is waaaay below the average.

Hi William, Walt and I are both so ready for spring. We don't tolerate the cold very well.

I am looking for those signs of spring and the first flowers. It gives us hope.
