Snow can also be pretty.

The snow can also be pretty.

Yes, the snow has been bashed much of the last week by the people on the East coast.

But we sometimes need to stop and look at the beauty.

Yes, it can be a pain when it comes at us in a straight horizontal line, and 6-12 inches and more at a time.

But  if we can just catch a few seconds of beauty in it...we will have a lot less stress from it.

William I love snow as long as it is in a photograph and someone sends me the picture:) having lived 40+ years where there was snow and sometimes heavy snow, I am very content now just to see it via pictures:)Endre

Morning William.

While I like seeing the snow fall and the peaceful beauty, I can do without it.

Good morning, William Feela I love the snow and the only thing that trumps it is the BEACH....

Good morning William. I too love the snow and find it mesmerizing and lovely as well. Extreme cold is something else but even that is a gift.

I do love the snow and the way everything looks blanketed by it. That of course comes from a guy who may get to see snow in his hometown every few years at most.

I live in Pennsylvania and I still like snow. It's the ancillary stuff like increased fuel bills, driving in it, etc. that I don't look forward to. However, since the grandchildren have grown a bit I no longer have to shovel the walks and driveway!

William, I agree, snow is absolutely pretty. Driving to work or school in it isn't so much. Luckily, I don't have to do that where I live but also can enjoy snow only in photos.

Hi Williams,
Snow and ice make some beautiful scenes alright but the older I get the less I like to be in it or deal with it.

Hi William Feela - I love polite snow ... Why? It is beautiful falling and gives a fabulous contrast to the red rocks and pines of Sedona. AND it does not overstay it's welcome....hence polite. It melts or disipates very fast even if we get 9 inches! Low humidity and temps above 32º every day of the year contribute to it.

What's not to like?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on pretty snow.

We have an icy morning in Maryland.

William, good attitude. I love the snow and it's very beautiful. I think there is little we can do about weather - we may as well accept it. D

I agree with you about the beauty of snow, William.  We don't get snow here in Sacramento, but I enjoy visiting it.

I agree William Feela snow is lovely and a winter wonderland is a peaceful setting that I miss.

I was 45 before I could think of snow without equating it as a 4 letter word. Previous to that I worked in the family transportation business and snow for me was long hours and stress with up 60 trucks slipping and sliding William Feela.

Now I love it!

Hi Bill, Thanks for sharing your pretty snow picture.  I think snow is pretty often, especially when it clings on tree branches in the wooded areas.
