William's Blog...with a smile!

And we took 5.

The angel  Christmas trees are popping up.

For those who may not know it is a tree for giving to those in need.

Usually it is the kids whose name is on the cards  or angels.

Today my wife and I found one with just the elderly...65-98.

Most are requesting warm socks and blankets.

WE are guessing  that it is for those in care facilities.

For my wife and I age dopes not matter.

we took 5 cards and most likely my wife will take more.

PLEASE Don't for get the elderly in your area.

We are an aging society, and many are home bound, and don't get out much.  The angel tree project is a nice one for this time of year.

Hi William Feela - A wonderful sentiment that we need to heed.  Our elderly matter.  Our elderly can teach us and they are living history who can give us a persepective that you can't get from a book.

It is very kind of you. We all have to give back to our communities, especially to elders.

Good morning William.

So far those trees haven't made it out in our area.  I believe they are put out shortly after Thanksgiving

I'm participating in a group who is buying all the Christmas presents for a family of three children and I'm so excited about it. Such a wonderful feeling!

Hi Bill, Thanks so much for the reminder that young or old, we all could use a little help from time to time.  Find someone in need this Christmas and help them out.
