Fall going into winter

It is fall going into winter.

Our seasons in Minnesota change dramatically.

Here is an example.

Gooseberry Fall north of Duluth.

It is fall in this picture.

This photo shows the same place in the winter.

While fall is nicer and no bugs, winter brings it's own beauty...And Santa Clause!

Good morning William.

My goodness what a transformation.   When it starts getting below 70 I start looking for my winter clothing.  Me and cold weather do not get along

Good morning, William Feela I have to admit, I'm looking forward to winter.... I love the snow and the cold....but most of all, I love the exercise from shoveling...

Good morning William Feela ,

You certainly do have a dramatic change in seasons which are lovely and what I grew up with as a child. Now I'm partial to warmer weather and less changes in the seasons..just a personal choice! Of course having my children and grandchildren right here might have something to do with it

We have a very rainy and windy day in Maryland.

Have an outstanding week.

Wow, what a difference between autumn and winter at that place, William.  Both pictures are a testament to seeing something spectacular, no matter the time of year there.

Good morning William. I love your photos and I loved being in northern Minnesota during my college years too.

A very popular place to visit even in the winter.  I have been there many times myself.

It is just a few weeks away and the snow will be here and the freezing temps will fall on us.
