Not all beauty is colorful

Not everything is colorful in the fall.

Different types of mushrooms are also fun to see.

Many are edible but you really need to know which ones.

Some of these legumes are also very bright orange and some yellow.

When looking for fall color, don't always look up, for some of the best viewing is right on the ground,

Good morning William.

We have a lot of people looking for those truffles in our area, as well as mushrooms. Love em, but I don't know which ones are edible other than the ones I find at the grocery store.

Hi William,

You make a very good point. In our drier climate, you won't find to many mushrooms unless you are near the creek.

I have never ventured out looking for any of these delecacies.  But I do know of several who do every year.

Good morning William.  I won't be eating any mushrooms other than those I buy at the grocery store.

Good morning again William. You are right and I generally look down too.

William Feela This photo reminds me of when I was much younger and would go out hunting. I always kept my eyes alert for edible mushrooms and often that's all I came back home with at the end of my hunt. Not only are they beautiful, but delicious!

Regardless if it is B&W, sepia, or whatever, my love of mushrooms is extreme.

Hi William- we don't think of the mushrooms as being beautiful like these! And I too would not eat mushrooms unless I knew they were safe, as in buying from a store.
