So the offer is very low...now what?

You finally get an offer on your home, and it is low.

It is VERY LOW!

So what do yo do.

First go into a private room and scream, jump and kick your feet.

Get it out of your system.

Now, let's get down to business.

Just because the offer is low it doesn't mean they will go away.

The buyer most likely will wait to see what you have to say.

An offer comes with a LIVE person!

Give a counter that you can work with and see what the buyer has to say.

Remember...You have a live buyer, don't let them get away.

Hi William

It's so often very emotional when a low offer comes in, but sellers should be pleased that have an offer that can perhaps be negotiated, as opposed to having no offer at all!

Good morning William.

It happens, like you wrote kick, scream and get it out of your system, move on and negotiate

Hi William -- while it may be low -- very low -- it's still an offer.   A review of the terms may reveal the motivation for both sides.

Good morning William. Always counter, always! I had a seller counter over list price and a buyer come back with a counter close enough to the asking price to strike a deal. You never know, always counter!

I have seen someone low ball a property and then come back and pay nearly full price.

Good morning William. You are so right about this and you are correct. Terrific.

Sage advice, William! I love the kicking and screaming comment - then, let's get down to business!

You're also right - just because it's low, doesn't mean you can't get them up to your price.

Any offer can be negotiated! We alwasy hope the buyer and seller can come to an agreement.
