William's Blog...with a smile!

head_left_image

I was asked to keep you updated.

I posted this as a spring planting project and people wanted to know how it went.

It did not go well.

It was cold and rainy after I planted and I didn't get anything to sprout.

I found out later that I needed to use COLD SPRING   water.  Like Hamms did.

Or I could also have used Cool Mountain water like Coors does.

North Branch, Minnesota well water does not cut it.

So, Next year I will try and upgrade my water and maybe have better luck!

Oh very funny.  It reminds me of the cow seeds I brought home from vacation... I wonder if they'll grow?

Oh, you are too funny, William! I only saw half of the picture and felt sorry for you that nothing had grown...then I scrolled down and realized what you planted!!

Maybe next year...or the next...

Very funny!  You definitely need the Rocky Mountain water.  I do like Hamms though too, so cold springs may do the trick :-) -Kasey

I bought an herb plant and there was a small spout in it (a squash of some kind). I planted the squash and now it is 2 by 2 with zuchinni's growing. It is much bigger than the herb. Go figure.

OR.....do as one of our friends did. We gave their four year old starter seed containers, soil and seeds and a little food...poof ....when the sun came out...the plants went in the ground and are thriving.

Thank you William Feela for the smile again. I don't think the Hamm's commercials would be politically correct these days and might start a conflict in your garden patch

All I can say is better luck next time, William.  If you don't succeed at first, try, try again!

Give it time Bill, a little warm weather, MN rainwater, and more beer and they should start producing.
