Are you thinking of a Brand New Home?

There is nothing like the smell of new.

New car, new boat or 4 wheeler.

And nothing tops it like a brand NEW home.

So if you are thinking of a new home there are a lot of things to consider.

But, here are the big ones.

Location.  Are there building sites in the area you want.

Builder.  If you have chosen a builder can he build in the area you want to build?

Time Frame.  It can take a couple of months or more to even break ground...do you have that time to wait along with the 60-90 days of finish the build?

Do  you have enough money down for the financing?

These are hard questions.

But they are important ones.

Miss a step and it could take a lot longer!

Good morning again William. I have never thought about a new, new home but these are excellent points.

Bill, I have seen some major delay's over the years because people try to short cut the process.

Somee folks do like to pay the extra money for new cars and new homes, but I prefer something with a little age.

In our area, the wait is even longer - four to six months to go through all the steps necessary to get a building permit and another six to seven months to complete the house.  But I think it is worth it - especially if you can get in up front and select all the finishes you want and make floorpan changes.
