William's Blog...with a smile!

Weekend funny...

Well for many of us, getting away does not include leaving our business behind.

I know some can do it but for me, I need to be in touch in order to relax, even when I have another agent in charge of my clients.

So, it drives my wife nuts (short drive) when I start answering the phone.

But hey,  have paid for more than one vacation by answering the phone while I was gone.

William like you I can only relax when I am  able to handle the issues...on a side note Diane does not get bothered with it... she understands when I answer the phone it means money:))Endre

My office goes with me wherever I go, a lot of our paperwork gets done in some very remote locations.

I can fully relate to that cartoon.  Back in the early 1980s, I took two vacations to Hawaii.  I was only able to relax when I had secured a phone card so I could call back to the mainland to handle escrows.  It was in the days before most agents had cellphones.  The good news was that because of the time difference, I could get up at 7:00 am Hawaii time, and call California because it was 9:00 am here.  Within an hour or two I could usually check with title companies, lenders, clients, and make certain everything was on track.  The rest of the day was mostly mine.

Good morning William.  We will be leaving on vacation Monday.  If my phone rings, you bet I'll answer it.

Hi, William.  I am ready for a vacation like this.  I hope I can get an internet connection out in the woods.

It stresses me out when I am away, if I am not also able to still stay on top of things, haha.
