The Flood will be heading toward the big cities all over the country

Most areas see an exodus from the big cities and suburbs every Friday.

Then on Sunday, they head back home.

This does cause a lot of traffic headaches when traveling.

Tomorrow will be extra heavy.

Being a long holiday weekend it will be extra busy.

PLEASE...be patient and give yourself extra time and or an alternate route.

Your safety and your families may depend on it.

Bring everyone home safe!!!!

Good morning William.  One of my sons decided to take a vacation this week.  I know the traffic will be heavy and he'll be careful.  Hopefully everyone will return home safe

I'll be on my way to Denver airport this morning by 5am, so hopefully will miss car traffic, but I don't doubt the airport will be busy.

In my area, this is definitely true. On Friday evenings, the roads going north are usually jammed, and on Sunday nights, the same is true going south. I'm sure today will be a busy day on the NY state thruway!

I do pray that everyone gets home safely today.  Patience is a virtue in the travel time.

Traffic can certainly be a challenge in the DC Metro Area.

I am headed out of town after a closing today.  Better to take off after the Holiday I always say!

Good morning William.  I always liked to be a contrarian and visit the city during the holiday and have to hassle with the traffic.

HI William,

The holiday is over but something interesting happened Friday.  We get the exodus from Phoenix and the Highway Patrol reduced the speed 10 mph on SR 17 up to Flagstaff! This is the first time our DPS has ever done that!

William, our quiet little part of Southeast Oklahoma has traffic jams and is overrun with folks from the city on Week-ends headed to Broken Bow Lake and Hochatown (the surrounding community around the lake).  Many of my clients are the original folks of that area that want to move because they prefer the quietness.  Tourism has been a wonderful monetary gain for the area but everything comes with a cost.

Oh, I had to read what your headline was talking about! I couldn't imagine what kind of "flood" you were talking about.
