Minnesota Bass Opener...

It was a great day for the Minnesota Bass Fishing Opener.

Skies varied from light clouds to peaks of sunshine.

A light breeze kept us comfortable and the fish, well let's just say cooperated.

A friend and I spent 6 hours on the water and ended up with several nice meals of fish for our families.

But, now today, it is back to work.

Although I forget my camera in the truck, this gives you an idea of what we were catching.

The stripper bass have taken over a lot of our large lakes but are very fun to catch.

When I first read the title line, I was expecting something musical, like a bass trombone, or bass saxophone, or a base fiddle!

Everyone is out taking advantage of the start of bass season in Minnesota.

Good luck and success.

Bill, you always seem to catch a meal or so.   Loke home buyers need to call you.

Hi William- Larry and I used to go bass fishing every weekend when we lived in Houston. It's a great teacher of patience.
