Searching for a new home should be fun.
It should not be a chore.
There are many things you can do to lessen the stress.
Get pre-approved...better still get a full approval
Decide more about what you need instead of just what you want.
Narrow your search area.
Be patient!
Work with an agent that is upbeat and light hearted.
Don't listen to family or the neighbor across the fence.
These tips will not erase all the stress, but if you smile a bit when looking and laugh at the absurd you will enjoy the process much more!
And don't put your head in the sand when an issue comes up...deal with it right away so it doesn't fester into a bigger issue
Look at what you can afford and you won't be disappointed later.
Good morning William. We've all see it, those who have a dream of a steak with a hot dog budget. Better to get the hot dog and work on getting the steak later in this market.
This is very good advice for prospective home buyers.
I hope you are enjoying a most productive month.
I have worked with buyers who couldnot agree and i stopped and told them they needed to think about the move more.
They still live in their home and that was almost 10 years ago
Luckily, my buyer experiences have been pleasant ones. The buyers lately have been so appreciative.

Wise advice Bill, pays to be prepared and be reasonable in your expectations. Far too many people expect to start out living in a castle.
