Now means now!

In this hot market   there is no time to waste.

I have some great buyers and they  are looking north of me.

I called them and told them we need to look at this house today!

 

"Well, maybe in a couple of days." was the response.

A couple of days go by and they want to look.

Well, to late, it is sold.

 

"What do  you mean it is sold?"

 

I mean that someone dropped everything and bought the house you were to busy to looko at.

 

In this market there is no time to waste.  If you are looking for a nice home you need to act right away.

Otherwise, you  are just out of luck!

I always hate to see that happen, don't you? So many buyers do not understand how fast things are moving in some areas. Perhaps next time they will listen!

I've had several buyers who don't really understand until they've lost a couple homes to other buyers. Once that happens, they're the ones calling you to schedule a showing ASAP!

William - I had that happen to some of my clients even during a not-so-hot market. I showed them a home, and unbeknown to me, they were interested in it. I had asked them if it was a home they would be interested in making an offer on, and at the time they said no. However, a week went by and they called me and said they decided they would like to make an offer on the home I showed them the week before. When I called the listing agent to let her know to expect an offer from my buyers, she informed me that the sellers had already received and accepted an offer between the time I showed my clients and the time they finally decided to make an offer. The home had been sitting on the market for over 110 days with very little activity/showing.
