William's Blog...with a smile!

Sorry, we don't have inhouse financing...

People go and buy a car and they finance it on the spot.

They you go to the store and get a credit card...on the spot!

You go to your local bank and you cn get a credit card on the spot!

You go to your local Real Estate office and you get...Whoa!!!

No instant credit?!

I have to go to a bank?

That doesn't seem fair!

Well, it may not seem fair, but buying a home of other real property

is a different game than your local store.

So, if you are thinking of buying a home...go see your local lender and ask how

mush you will be allowed to spend.

William - I would agree that buying a home is certainly different than getting a credit card, and you shouldn't be able to qualify for the purchase of a home in minutes, unless you are bringing cash to the table.

Some of the commercials I've seen, especially from one particular on line mortgage company might make buyers think differently. That's where the professional realtor comes in and helps buyers understand the process. There's a reason it takes 30-45 days to get cleared to close. You can drive a car off the lot the same day. Instantly use a credit card. Can't move into a home the same day your on line lender says YOUR APPROVED. The devil is in the details.

Good morning again William. I think it important to have a separation between the real estate firm and the lender. I like the cartoon too.
