In our colder climes, we are seeing very unseasonably warm weather.
This creates some hazard you may not think of.
Especially in rural areas.
1) Wet sloppy ground. Need a way to keep even the entry clean. Booties may help but also a small rug.
2) Snow coming off of metal roofs can be a danger. This can happen in seconds so look up at the roofs and don't park close.
3) This is the most important. Wet, muddy driveways. I went to show a home with a long driveway in the country. I parked on the road for fear of not knowing the condition of the driveway. about 1/2 to the house, there it was. An all wheel drive vehicle stuck in the driveway...up to all axles. It was going nowhere fast.
This last issue if very important as some areas I work in do NOT have cell phone coverage.
Play it safe and take a hike!!!
I am happy to see that we seem to be escaping much of the warm weather that you are plagued with. But I know it is coming soon.
We don't have to worry about snow, but San Diego has been experiencing rain fall that ended our drought and then went beyond and caused flooding and trees falling.
After a difficult winter full of unprecedented snow, we are also in the mud zone now. Fun! -Kasey
This will stay a big issue right through the spring season for us
Good morning again William. I agree with you completely. We are heading into mud season here too.
