He put his head in the sand...Is your agent truthful?

Last week an issue cropped up  one one of my closings for before the end of the year.

I learned of it the day before closing.

But, the agent knew about it 2 weeks before.  Even when I called a week ago he said all was fine.

The last time I talked to him he said that it was a small issue and he thought it was no big deal and would be just fine.

The agent basically put his head in the sane.

We now won't close for another 2 weeks.

Guess who is about to get a commission-ecktamy!

Is your agent on the ball?

Have you talked with him or her to make sure.

Has been telling the truth so far or just sorta.

Don't wait until it is to late!!!!!

Sounds like a discouraging situation William Feela - Hopefully the agent learned from this mistake that full disclosure and wholehearted honesty may not change the circumstances but at least it will keep everyone 'in the loop'...

William, I've been really lucky with cooperating agents this year.  Hope it goes more smoothly between now and closing!

Terrible. Maybe a quick note to his Broker will clean up his act. I hope there aren't any more hiccups!

At least you finally got the issue addressed and are still moving forward.

Good morning William.  I guess that agent also has an Arkansas license as sometimes we have the same issue here.

I would say most times things don't work themselves out.  You may not have to jump at the issue, but you do need to recognize it and start towards a solution

Good morning William. I just hate that kind of deceit. I hope no one put their hand in your pocket.

Sometimes we need to just keep staying on top of things to ensure others are doing what they are supposed to do. The good news here is that ... it seems it is getting done and you will close.

It does take a lot of coordination to keep these deals flowing Bill, sorry that this agent let you down.
