Another hit for home buyers...or not?

OPEC has supposedly come up with an agreement to lower production.

Gas on the wholesale market went up a  dime.

Once again it is a small group that has come up with the doom and gloom of this story.

Homeowners that live close to work will not e affected much at all.

People in my area will see the increase but still better than a few years ago.

My thought is why are we worried, we are almost self sufficient when it comes to energy.  This should have little bearing on the cost of oil

I understand that we now export more oil than we import.  However, oil is sold on the global market, and prices follow accordingly.

It is always some type of game William. So typical of American companies.

I agree William Feela , living so close to an oil field I can assure you that the oil workers are excited about the upcoming presidency believing we will be in TOTAL control of our energy situation.

Good morning William.  I don't worry about much of anything.  Just an undue stress at my age that I don't need

Can't worry about what you can't change.

Good morning William.  I hope that OPEC implodes and goes away soon.

I haven never really paid much attention to it, but it seems that gas prices have been around $2/gallon in my area for a while and I enjoy it.

I undestand that oil may be low for the cost of drilling and pumping.  Just so it doesn't get into triple digets again

Good morning William. The only thing I know is things will be what they are.

If gasoline prices will stay within where they are now...I'll be happy.

The main oil men paid a lot for this election, they do need to concentrate on recharging their wallets now.
