Success...it is different for everybody!

WE spend a lot of time on this site talking about success.

WE talk about how, why, when and a lot more.

For each of us it is different.

Example:

Minnesota's Deer Hunting opener is Saturday.

Success for some is Harvesting a mature buck.

Success for others is just any buck.

Still others it is just any deer.

Back in the 70's, the Deer population was low.

Success was totally different.

If you saw a deer, any deer you had a successful hunt.

If you harvested a deer, any deer you could be a guide for others!

In Real Estate it is not much different.

For some you need to sell 100 homes and you would be successful.

Others 20-25 will make you feel really good.

Then there are a few that sell 1, their first one and they now are Successful.

So you see, Success comes in many different shapes, forms and levels.

It is up to you to set your level and be happy with it!

Now for me, if I find a buck where I think I will, to me that is success for I accomplished what I set out to do.

If I get a nice photo, like this one, it is alsoa great success.

If I happen to harvest a deer, that is a bonus, and that is one thing we very very seldom talk about in this forum.

Success for people is different.  It is all based on how much each wants out of life and the efforts they are willing Io expend to recover that dream

My neighbors set up a new tree stand; they are putting out some seed corn.  The other day 9 or 10 deer were milling around, chewing on the corn.  A couple of young bucks, nothing spectacular... but the neighbors will be bow hunting, which is another level of "success".

I think about this out on the golf course. My success comes when I hit the ball within a few feet of where I aimed. It's a great success if it repeats from tee to pin.

Bill, you are what many people would call a conservationist for your hunting habits because you truely care about the animals you seek.
