William's Blog...with a smile!

Our new cat was Broke...

We are fortunate to have a new cat.  ( My wife's opinion.)

Truth is, he is an outdoor cat and we need a good mouser.

Mice and chip monks are disappearing so he is doing his job and I feed him will for doing it.

So ,my wife says we need to get the shots.

I am an old farm boy and we used to band the male cats.  25 cents and done.

NO, it has to be done by the vet....$300+ later we have a cat that is now fixed with shots.

I hope he stay s off of the road!!!!

Morris doesn't like his picture taken.

My latest kitty set me back $600.   She won't get rabies... or pregnant!

Oh...what a cutie, and she's working hard for you so take good care of her and DO GET HER FIXED. I have five kittens in my woodshed right now. I fed momma kitty and she just moved them in. They are all getting trapped tomorrow morning and then they are taking a trip to the local shelter where hopefully the kittens will be tamed down and they will be adopted out. Momma will get fixed, too.

I like cats too... however, I like them to do their business outside. I also think they should be fixed and allowed outside if they wish. My favorite cats are the tuxedo cats.

That is quite an investmetn in a cat Bill, we never even invested the 25 cents for the band.

Hi William.  At least he's working for his room and board.  Much better than some other pets.

I love Morris, Bill! And he was worth every penny you spent on him. (That's my face exactly when someone tries to take my picture; I don't like having mine taken either.)

Your cat is Broke, so I was thinking it needed a job.

Morris is a good name for that cat, William!  I had no idea you could "band" a cat, and have it work!  I remember watching a sheep get castrated at the California State Fair, when I was a kid.  It was right then and there that I decided I was a "Sidewalks - Curbs - Gutters" kinda girl!
