William's Blog...with a smile!

I shared this before but it is worth sharing again.

Many of us don't pull a trailer very often.

But now that summer is here we put in the hitch accessory and hook up the boat and go.

We then get home and we leave that accessory in place.

We then for get and the first time we need to get into the back BANG!  you run right into this dag blasted item.

Save yourself some pain and blue smoke and remember to remove it.

Ouch, that is not a pleasant feeling at all, haha.  It needs to be routine to remove it when you are finished with it.

That happens and it is a real pain.  Hope the fish are biting up your way this summer.

I think I have permanent dents in my shins from running into my own a few times.

I never take mine off, we use our trailers so often that our shins know not to walk into these things.

William

It's easy to walk into a hutch . . . . and that involves a lot of pain.

Good luck and success.

Yep, I sustained an injury from one of those back in the 1970s, the memory remains with me to this day!

I don't have a hitch anymore, William, but I can remember some painful hits from the past.  Great reminder.

My hitch left when my giddy-up and go left the building.
