Butterfly's raised by kids...

I never knew it but there are companies that raise bugs for schools and research facilities.

My neighbor and client is one of those people.

A couple of weeks ago he gave me a few caterpillars along with the forgoer food.

They were for my 6 year old grand daughter.

Well, they ate for a week soon spun  their crystallize and then emerged a butterfly after another week.

What a great hands-on learning experience for young kids

Yes, what a great life experience for a child.  I can remember my fascination with butterflies when I was young.

That is definitely a neat experience and it would be so great to see the transformation.  I don't believe that I have ever witnessed it, even though I played with caterpillars all of the time when I was a kid.
