William's Blog...with a smile!

Finally...warm enough to get the yard work done.

78 degrees.  Not bad!  48 yesterday and 37 the day before.

Today my wife got all of her flower beds cleaned out.

Many flowers popping up now.

Me, I am working on the lawn this evening.

Rain in the near forecast so time to clean up the leaves and sticks.

Also time to put down lime and fertilizer the day before it rains.

If you have pets it is a good idea to try and spread an hour or so before the rain so the pets do not come in contact with the fertilizer.

More to come, but the wife is telling to get back to work!!!!

Careful cleaning and soil prep will bring results like this.

Those are gorgeous daffodils, William.  California finally received much needed rain.  It made grass, and weeds grow profusely, after 4 years of drought.  My neighbors have fought to keep ahead of it all!

We had 50's by the lake this afternoon and some sun William but you were really treated well by Mother Nature.

William

Looks like spring is in full bloom in North Branch, Minnesota.

Good luck and success.

William, these are beautiful! I just saw on the news that gardening is one of the best ways to de-stress or rid yourself of the blues. I can see why!

That's a great picture, Bill.

We are expecting a winter storm this weekend. Hopefully it won't dump too much snow on us.

Good morning William.  You had best listen to the boss and get back to work.

Doesn't it feel great to get started on Spring yard clean-up?  I'm having some painting done then I can finish with some fresh rock and barking.  Have a great week-end, William!

Good to hear that your wife is keeping you busy Bill, I am going to wait until that big snow pile downtown finishes melting before I trust that spring is really here.
