Tree Trimming in North Branch, Minnesota

It is spring and time to trim the trees.

But, if yo live in North Branch Minnesota you have about a week to safely do it.

After that time you are in much more danger of disease infecting your trees, especially fruit and ornamental trees.

Not sure if your area is safe to trim, call the DNR or any ag service and they will be able to help you.

I did some trimming on this crab tree 2 weeks ago.

Selling a house with a huge red wood tree close to 100 years old. People are afraid of the sheer size.  I think it is being protected and one can not take it down.  Trimming lower branches is what I think new owners need to do.

I recently had a couple guys remove the mistletoe out of my front yard tree. Even though they were use to it, I worried the whole time they were up there in those branches!

Another interesting fact, William.  I had no clue.

Good information Bill.  Most people think they can trim any time without any issues.

Hi, Bill. This is a great reminder to people in your area. It's important to know when to trim those trees to prevent problems.

I got an email last week from the bug specialists, the Oak Wilt vectors are out early this year, it may be too late for trimming the oaks already.
