William's Blog...with a smile!

I will use my GPS

Meeting with a client at a rural property, I gave him the directions.

Not simple but easy to follow.

He had the address also.

At the meeting time he calls and is lost.

I am at where my GPS says the place is but it doesn't look like it.

"NO, I am at the place and you are not."

I had told him that the GPS would not work.

"Go back to the main road and follow my directions."

I can't, I left them home.  I thought the GPS would get me there.

I guess he should have listened to me.  He will next time.

GPS does NOT work in many of the rural areas of Minnesota.

No it doesn't.  Either that or it sends you in some really weird directions.  I have been undone by GPS in your area.  First and last time I showed properties in Chisago County.

William - We have that same issue here in Chandler and the surrounding area. Some addresses are too new, and some addresses have actually changed in recent years. GPS is not always right.

Good morning William. I went to Branson, MO yesterday for an AR meetup.  Siri took me the long way around, which helped me getting there late.  Not always a good option

I had one like this not too long ago, William.  The funny thing (or sad) about it was that this person continued to insist he was at the right place and that I was wrong.  (Even though it was my listing, my sign on the yard, and the right keys to get into the door.)

Good morning William,

Even in the State of New York you had better have a map or you will be heading down the wrong path!

Make yourself an astonishing day.

I don't even own a GPS...I use a good map and get directions before I leave.

Good morning William. I laughed out loud with this and it is funny. Some folks just don't like to listen. Great cartoon.

William, my old house was always wrong on every GPS. If people followed that, they drove by -- every single time. GPS is good -- to an extent!
