William's Blog...with a smile!

OH MY...What are they going to do?

A good portion of Europe and some parts of the US are 'off-line'.

Twitter is having some difficulties and has left  a large portion of the affected countries unable to get their twitter fix.

That means no.

I just ate a pop tart

I am going to the store.

I have to go to the bathroom.

My kid just pooped his pants.

OK, in all fairness, there are those that use this service in a more normal way and many in their business.

But, as one who does not let his life be totally dictated by technology, I think this is somewhat funny.

So many people so addicted to the site that they have to post mundane stuff.

I guess, in some ways it isn't so far off from this post on Active Rain!

I was informed of this terrible glitch by a young relative on the east coast...She was just beside herself that she was unable to communicate with a friend.

I asked her if she thought about calling her friend..."we don't do that!"

Well, I guess whe will stay in the dark

Oh NO ... totally different from a post in the Rain. The addiction may be the same but the posts ... come one now William Feela - we have much more going on here!

I have never heard anyone on Active Rain say they pooped their pants. It is sad that twitter folks post such unimportant crap. Like I really needed to know that.

I agree with you Kathleen, I was talking about my post being a lite spoof

My teenaged daughters will Tweet to each other because they are in their bedrooms and don't want to get up and talk to the other. There world would cave in if Twitter went down. They may actually have to gasp! talk to someone!

I don't do twitter. Although I do believe I'm addicted to ActiveRain.

I don't tweet and I have seen similar posts on Facebook.  People just get enamored with what they can get up and who might respond, like I just did for this post.

They will definitely get a feeling for what life used to be like "back in the day."

Twitter could be down for a year and I probably would not notice unless somebody mentioned it.

I am not into this tech stuff and I thin it is sorta funny at times when people are so addicted that they yell and scream when small issues happen
