William's Blog...with a smile!

To be young again...

I had some late business today and the young ladies, who were very professional I will say, were chomping at the bit.

It is New Years Eve and they were already late for a party.

I thought to myself, I used to be like that.

I lived in a very rural area and sadly, drinking and driving was not an issue on my small gravel back roads.

Today, I would strangle my kids if they did that.

I guess what I am getting at is...

Go out and have fun...but please...be safe.

Be responsible and don't get hurt or don't hurt anyone else either.

Live to tell about the party and let others be able to do the same.

Happy New Years to all!

I can relate William Feela I remember my girl and I would buy a 12 pack of 16oz Schlitz Malt Liquor and drive around the outskirts of town. Today 2 of those malt liquors would have me under the table.

William - Well said. I think that I was young and stupid, and can only hope that it has made me old and wise. Happy New Year!

Good morning William,

To be young again and know what we know now would be no fun!

The desigmated driver should be used to party hardy!

Make yourself a great day.

Coming home from my cousin's house on Thanksgiving I was able to avoid a drunk driver coming the wrong way down a divided four lane by-way.  I literally saw my life flash before my eyes.

As much as I enjoyed being young, I'm enjoying my current age more.  LIfe is much more peaceful now.  It comes from knowing who I actually am, except enduring all the years I only thought I knew.

Oh yes, the "young and stupid" years can be lethal!
