An Amish Christmas Display...

I have a good acquaintance.

He is an Amish man.

He is also a very Proud and hard working man.

He also has a great sense of humor.

He is traditional for the most part, but today's society has forced him to become a bit more modern.

So, He e-mailed me his Christmas display...

Did I mention he has a great sense of humor?

In 2008, I jumped on a plane and flew to Pennsylvania.  My goal was to spend time in Lancaster County, which has a heavy population of Amish.  I enjoyed every minute of it, and would love to return one day.

Good evening William,

Having quite a few in the area it is fun to watch them in the fields with equipment that would make most of us cringe with the amount of work they do.

Excellent wood workers and when I visit my daughter and grandkids always stop for butter and vegetables.

Make yourself a great day.

When we lived in New Jersey . . . . We would head up to Pennsylvania Dutch Country for a little Christmas Cheer.

Good luck and success.

Great display of Christmas cheer Bill, I believe that I may have driven by this one while traveling a rural road recently.

This is awesome! I am ready for Christmas to be here - I hope it is a time of great togetherness - I think we all need it - as indiviuals and as a family of Americans
