Thanksgiving is nearly here!

Thanksgiving is nearly here and it is time to pick out the bird.

Tips on doing so...

You want a bird that looks healthy...good plummage clear eyes.

One that has had room to grow and crowded.

Enough to eat of the right foods.

No medicated food if possible.

Now, If you need a step by step of how to prepare a turkey...let me know.

You start by cutting off the head!

Blind farmer!!

I'm interested in your tip about first cutting off the head.  I've been trying to find the head of my Safeway wrapped turkeys for years and years. . .tsk, tsk!

Hi William Feela

So cute! I could never work on a farm as I would make friends and never want to eat my pet chickens, turkeys, cows, etc.
