It is fall, drive carefully...

When driving in our rural areas and even many of the Burb's, extra caution is needed.

Deer are running all over the place.

It is mating time in many areas and with the ladies playing hard to get, is causing a lot of chasing.

Much of the chasing is across roads into the path of our cars.

4 deer in a 3 mile stretch just today meet with disaster.

Please, for your safety...Slow down especially at dusk.  A couple of minutes could save time, money and maybe a life!

Oh I've hit a deer. Let's just say the deer won that battle. Drive carefully

I will never forget riding my bicycle along the American River Parkway a few years ago.  It was this time of year, and a buck literally raced along side me.  He had first come out to kind of stare me down from beneath a tree.

This is great advice, Bill. A few days ago I came across a herd of elk crossing the road. It's hunting season here, and the deer and elk are moving around a lot more than usual.

Hitting the will most likely kill the deer . .  . . and cause major damage to the car.

Good luck and success.

Hi William, I do know the dangers of hitting a deer, it was hard on me, my vehicle and of course the deer.

Good warning, Bill! Deer are plentiful in San Mateo County, wandering across roads, eating roses and all the garden tidbits. I've learned that if I see 1 deer to watch out for more!

Great warning, William.  Wow, 4 deer within 3 miles.  There must be a lot horny deer running around.

Good morning William,

And just think with each new home they will change paths; so do pay attention.

Make yourself a great day.

William Feela because of all the coulees that run through Minot ND we are dodging deer year around but when the shooting season starts it really can get crazy. The hunting season also brings moose into town every year.

Great advice Bill! So many deer needlessly get killed every year because people are not on alert.

I was in the front passenger seat when the car hit a deer. . . . It destroyed the front end of the car. This time of the year in certain areas of the country we have to be prepared to stop fast.

Good luck and success.

Oh yes it is that time of year again!  My poor car had the unlucky fate of hitting one several years ago!  Not fun, stay safe out there driving;)
