Country living is where it is at...

A friend who lives in the city, right down town and always has come out to my house not long ago on an invitation.

It got dark and the stars started to shine.

we walked up the drive away from our lone yard light and he just marveled at the sight of the stars.

He and his wife asked many questions.

Before the left one said..."Man, you really have it made."

Well, that is true to a point, but I told him I would invite him for the entire weekend and we will do yard work and then cut wood.

He said he would have to think on that!

Country or rural living is the best, but it comes with a lot more work also.

Unexpected work like a fallen tree is part of it.

Yikes! Apparently that tree took a large swipe at your tent, too.  Or is that multiple tents? My ex-husband knick-named my dad's farm Green Acres. When I saw the title of your post, "Country Living is where it's at..." , it reminded me of the theme song...

I know what you mean. I love my cabin except when it's time to do pine needle removal

Good morning William. This is funny but I can relate. Home ownership on property is different.
