Minnesota Deer Opener

Nov. 7th is Minnesota's Rifle Deer Season opener.

I see many people scrambling the day before or the night before to get everything they need.

Real hunters have all their stuff ready already.

They have all their clothes from last year all washed and stored them in tight plastic bags.

It doesn't matter what you are doing...you need to be prepared.  Doing so the night before is only going to make you find that you may forget something or find the stores are sold out!

Get it done now...you will have less stress and enjoy your activity much more.

Our rifle season opened today. I have friends still bow hunting, though. I hope they both score. If they do that means there will be some good deer jerky in my future.

Bill, so many people buy clothes, rifles on the day before and then walk into the woods expecting a deer to stand and let them shoot.

In hunting as in business, preparation is key

I was once the bride of an avid hunter.  The way I got ready for hunting season was to make certain the Bambi sheets were put back on my kid's beds!
