William's Blog...with a smile!

Do you ever wonder?

Life is funny in a way.

We are all worried about our identity.

Especially with phone calls.

This happened to me the other day.

I was on the phone trying to pay one of my Bill's and I was questioned if I was really me.

After a few minutes of giving more info than I should have to I asked the person...

Have you ever had anyone try and pay one of your bill's for you?

She stopped a second...No I guess I have not heard of that...I will get this processed!

Good morning William,

Seems like sometimes it can be dragged out farther than it should.

Hope you do not have to worry about misuse of the information you gave out.

Make yourself a great day.

Good morning, William --- this is both funny and sad at the same time.   And of course, so believable because it's happened to me as well.  Of course, you gave the best response.

So true! In fact, there's some kind of little photo circling Facebook about that. But if anyone wants to call in and pay some of my bills, puh-leze! I welcome that!

If someone were to ever try and pay one of my bills I certainly hope the representative just shuts up and lets them do it!

Hi William.  That is just crazy but stupid isn't against the law.  Look at Congress.

William Feela ~ now that was an absolutely perfect come-back, William! And wouldn't it be nice to see some reverse "fraud" and have someone else pay some of our bills?

William,  The amount of information we are asked for is over the moon ridiculous.  And all the while we get scripts read to us.  Enough already!

The way of the world William. It is sad.

Thanks for sharing this story. I am glad that they allowed you to make a payment.

I have never had anyone pay one of my bills either. I get grilled when I try to do it over the phone. I choose to do it online with less hassle.

William

I would agree with Debbie Reynolds I can't remember anyone ever trying to pay my bills for me on line.

Good luck and success.

I don't believe I ever have had someone try to pay one of my bills for me.  But, it is becoming a more complicated road we travel on, when it comes to identity theft.

It can be irritating, I find the worst one is my cable company, every time the internet goes out I nearly need to turn in a resume to get them to talk to me.
