William's Blog...with a smile!

It was a long weekend...now I need some rest.

It was a very busy week.

Friday and Saturday was all real estate.

Sunday was working on projects at the cabin...Replacing siding on the garden shed for one.

The shed had a lot of trees that had grown up and proved a lot of shade.  But, it did't let the area dry out.  Even moss started growing on the shingles.

The siding was rotted, but the stud wall were good.

I replaced the siding and then sprayed down the shingles to kill the moss.

Maint. at the cabin has been back burnered for several yeas because of our need to be around for aging parents.

Now that responsibility is gone I am playing catchup.

By fall freeze up I will have over half of my self imposed list fixed.  Some stuff inside I will do this winter.

When you have a weekend home...it is like having 2 homes to maintain.

William Feela that's a great job - and having focus to complete rest of them this winter is the key - I am sure you'll take care of it, after some rest.

William - I don't even have a weekend home, and have a hard time keeping up with maintenance. I worked all day on our house.

It is a truth that some weekends almost demand that we go back to our jobs to experience rest!

William

Sometimes after a long week . . . . we relax . . . . and take a rest.

Good luck and success.

Hi, Bill. It sounds like you are moving right along with your projects. Nice work on getting this stuff done, and it's smart to save the inside stuff for the winter months.
