A Fun Campfire...

I love a campfire.

Nothing more soothing or hypnotizing than a campfire.

I have found that I live to get a good bed of coals, then I find 3 3-4 inch sticks.

I make a triangle with them on top of the coals.

Then, I take a hollow piece of log and set it vertical.

It takes about 3-4 minutes to make that hollow log a chimney.

This works well for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows.

It also works good for watching and sipping my favorite beverage.

William Feela,  I love having a fire in a firepit or chiminea, thanks for sharing your method.

I have a fire pit in my backyard.  But just yesterday, I was thinking of making one that was a little more primative.  I love the hollow log idea!

William - A hollow log is an interesting way to make a fire. I love a good fire when camping.
