A thought to really think about

I believe I have posted this a few years back but I think it is time again...

Sometimes common sense comes from those that really know.

An old Cherokee told his grandson.

"My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside of us.  One is Evil.  It is Anger, Jealousy, Greed, Resentment, Inferiority, Lies and Ego.

The other is good.  It is Joy, Love, Peace,Hope, Humility, Kindness, empathy and Truth."

The boy thought for a while and asked..."Which wolf wins?"

The old man quietly replied..."The one in which you feed."

If we think about this it is very true.   Our personality is about what we do and feel and how we portray ourselves to others.

Which Wolf is within you?

Good stuff William. I'm sending this to a young lady in our youth group who needs to hear these words - probably for the very first time.

There is real wisdom in the story in your post.

Good luck and success.

Hello William,

Outstanding post!  And I have to say both - but I only feed the good...

Yes the one we feed will prevail. This is a very thoughtful reminder William.

I've always enjoyed that story William Feela . The Good Book teaches, As a man thinketh, in his heart, so is he. We were created with free will.

Bill, so absolutely true. Exactly why when I'm around negative people I don't feed into their negativity!

William

If we feed the evil thought . . . . they will end up eating us.

Good luck and success.

There is a line I heard in a rap song that said, "If you think about thought then you'll see that your timeless."

Remember that it's always the one you feed at least most of the time and the rest just kind of takes care of itself after that.

Yes, it's up to us which wolf we feed.

Very wise and inspiring yet very powerful in my life. You have to able to distinguish which wolf is at your door because in many ways they look the same William Feela
