When traveling, get off the beaten trail

My wife and I took a day for a road trip...no real destination, just hit some of the small towns and see what they have to offer.

We stopped by a small diner.  Not fancy at all.

Even the people were not dressed real well.

We were warmly welcomed.

It was busy in this 2 horse town.

We gave our order from a small menu.

The food arrived and it was excellent.

We have don this very often and have found that we get some great meals

with more than enough to eat.

Traveling....get off the beaten trail for a while...you may be pleasantly surprised.
